What you will be doing

Jahia, a global provider of digital experience platforms (DXP) is looking for an entrepreneurial and driven sales operations leader to help lead us through the next phase of growth by owning productivity, process, and execution across go-to-market functions. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment and has an instinct for, and experience with managing and analyzing metrics, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, and the energy to implement improvements. 

The Director/Manager, Sales Operations will play a pivotal role in supporting the continued growth at Jahia. This role combines strategic planning, sales operations, and Salesforce system ownership and administration. Success in this role means assisting the sales organization and business partners to drive visibility, efficiency, and value in our sales process. This role will span many functions - from evaluating worldwide market opportunities, supporting the creation of the product growth strategy, business planning, market segmentation, sales pipeline analysis, and Salesforce architecture. Deliverables include detailed analytics models, performance analysis, scalable reporting infrastructure, and presentation-ready content for our executive team. Expected impact across the organization includes but is not limited to improving lead conversions, win rates, sales efficiency, forecast visibility, customer retention, and overall business revenue growth.

 

Responsibilities include
  • Deal Management & construction

    • Develop, manage, and enforce empowerment rules and guidelines for deal construction

    • Be the single point of contact for all custom deal development and approvals

    • Execute on deal closure process by acting as liaison between commercial, finance, and support

  • Regional & Global Sales Support

    • Support Sales teams and Regional leaders in ad hoc reporting, presentation development, and sales administration

    • Manage forecast and pipeline processes

  • Planning

    • Lead commercial side of FY and quarterly planning – bottoms up and top down

    • Partner with finance on ad hoc planning activities and commercial assumptions

    • Manage the long-term business plan for commercial

  • Compensation

    • Partner with Finance/HR and leadership on compensation plan development for commercial

    • Develop and manage individual compensation plans for all commercial team members

    • Managed monthly, quarterly, and annual compensation activities and distribution for commercial employees

  • Sales Enablement

    • Develop, manage, & execute all commercial related enablement activities, including group and individual trainings and management of enablement calendar for commercial team

    • Drive global participation and collaboration across teams

  • Sales Tools & Process

    • Develop pricing, offer development, and custom pricing guidelines to regional sales

    • Own sales handbook, detailing all processes that involve commercial team members, including expectations of individual roles

    • Administer all sales tools for the purpose of sales management and sales prospecting (CRM, data enrichment, etc.)

What you need for this position
  • BA/BS Degree

  • 7-10 years of experience in sales operations, enablement, revenue operations or equivalent function with significant exposure to a global sales team.

  • Experience and deep understanding of SaaS, subscription, and consumption-based software revenue models

  • High level of comfort with financial modelling and analytical tools.

  • Advanced experience managing a CRM. Salesforce certification a plus.

  • Broad experience across sales and marketing technologies, including integrations with Salesforce such as Marketo, ZoomInfo, and others.

  • Strong senior executive engagement and influence skills.

  • Excellent oral & written communication and presentation skills.

  • Advanced Microsoft office skills specifically advanced excel skills

  • Ability to operate successfully in a growing start up environment that is fast paced and has the confidence and ability to wear many hats.

  • Experience building and leading high-performance teams.

  • High sense of urgency while working with integrity and passion.

  • Superior analytical, and problem-solving skills.
